Happy Worthy Wednesday! This time of year is always energetic and exciting in the office as everyone is preparing for the holidays and getting in the spirit. Although we were not able to celebrate our holiday party the usual way this year with a big party full of food and fun, we had a virtual holiday party. COVID has been taking over and while we were sad, we couldn’t all be together in person, we are grateful to have adapted to an online celebration.
We did a White Elephant gift exchange this year which was very entertaining. A White Elephant gift exchange is where everyone brings in a present and each present is assigned a number. Then, you go down a list of the people involved who either get to pick a new present to open, or they can steal a present from someone else. The trick is a present can only be stolen three times before it is permanently stuck with that person. White Elephant gifts can either be funny or serious and the exchange is extremely entertaining.
Some of the gifts included Chick-fil-A sauces and a shirt, stationery and coffee mugs, socks with our CEO’s face on them, dog calendars, iPad holders, and more. If you are doing a White Elephant gift exchange, it is good to set a maximum price range, so gifts are around the same value. While gift exchanges are not necessary, they are very fun and keep spirits energetic.
We strongly value all our employees and their incredibly hard work they have put in throughout this stressful year. We are very grateful for our team, and it’s important to let them know how valuable they are to our company. Thank you Worthy team for all you’ve done for the company this year.
