We’re back with another trivia Tuesday, Starbucks edition! Starbucks is notorious for taking good care of their employees, however during a downturn in business they had to make-company cuts which resulted in store closures nationwide. During these cuts, many employees were laid off. A shareholder even told the CEO Howard Shultz it was a great time to cut employee benefits, especially part-time employees such as health insurance, but Shultz refused. Believe it or not, Starbucks spends more on health insurance for its employees than they do on coffee.
How much does Starbucks pay in health insurance?
A. $40 million
B. $300 million
C. $60 million
D. $500 million
