The time has come for another trivia Tuesday!  The concept of insurance has been around since ancient civilizations, but the first known insurance contract was signed in Genoa, Italy during this year.  In Genoa during the  14th century, separate insurance contracts and policies not bundled with loans were invented.  This includes insurance pools backed by pledges of landed estates.
